I’m a Clinical Informatics Specialist with a strong foundation in nursing and advanced expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. My work bridges clinical practice and data science transforming raw healthcare data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and enhance decision support systems.

I leverage AI models, predictive analytics, and interoperability frameworks to design smarter, data-driven care delivery systems that align with evidence-based practice and regulatory standards. My passion lies in using technology to close gaps in care coordination, patient safety, and population health management.

With a background in Nursing Informatics, I bring both clinical empathy and technical fluency helping healthcare organizations translate complex algorithms into meaningful, human-centered innovations that redefine the future of care.

I have over seven years of combined experience in nursing, healthcare operations, and clinical informatics, with a specialized focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications in patient care. 

I’ve led and contributed to projects integrating predictive modeling, electronic health record (EHR) optimization, and real-time data automation to improve clinical outcomes and workflow efficiency. My work emphasizes the use of data science to inform decision-making, enhance interoperability, and support population health initiatives.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from the University of the West Indies and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Advanced Systems Practice with a concentration in AI and Healthcare Informatics at Vanderbilt University.

In addition, I earned my Certified Health Management & Patient Information Systems (CHMPIS) credential, which strengthened my ability to integrate clinical knowledge with health IT systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and AI-driven data management tools.
