About Khalil Potts:

I'm 17 years old and am from Washington DC, I'm seeking to become a mechanical engineer at the age of 17 because this is the career that I want in the future. I was inspired by my uncle to become a mechanical engineer when he asked me what I wanted to be in the future. I also like to do things like make music, play video games, watch movies, be outside, roller skate, and sometimes draw. I have worked only 2 summer jobs and did great with both of these jobs one of these jobs was focused on engineering and the other was prison reform so I have experience in those fields.

I am currently a Junior and go to Kipp DC College Preparatory where I currently have a cumulative GPA of a 3.05.
