My duties as an RA included being a support system for my residents while also maintaining the policies of Depaul. I would make events intended to get them involved and to have them interact with each other while also being educational. These events could include lessons about social justice or consent depending on what I felt my residents would benefit most from.
Depaul University / HARC Lab Senior Intern:Social Justice Intern 2020-2021, CHICAGO, IL
I worked under Dr.Molly Brown as the Senior Intern of the HARC Lab. My duties included educating my team about recent movements as well as providing them opportunities to get involved within social movements. This also included giving them tips and guidelines on how to get involved in different movements as well as proper etiquette needed for any in person protests.
Depaul University / SRO Lab Research Assistant 2020-2021, CHICAGO, IL
My duties involved transcribing interviews with SRO (Single Room Occupancy) tennents, in which they would describe their experiences and how they would like the city to better help SRO tennents.

I worked as a therapist-intern in which I aided my clients in processing harsh emotions and worked to establish healthy coping mechanisms. I participated specifically in providing group therapy for children suffering from grief and managing anger alongside a licensed therapist. I created sessions plans and provided my clients a safe space to share.

I am currently working as a Therapist Intern within a private practice setting. I aide my clients in processing deep trauma as well as establishing healthy communication skills. I establish a safe space during sessions for my clients to share freely. I specialize in working with children and families.
