About Kevin Cooney:

20+ years of Storage Networking experience, both as an administrator and field engineer. I've installed new networks and have performed multiple upgrades and migrations. IBM Storage is where the majority of my experience lies.

Experience

In the past 20 years I have worked with both Dell/EMC and IBM storage environments and fibre channel networking. Most of my experience is with IBM Storage systems (SAN Volume Controller, Spectrum Virtualize, DS8000, Storwize, FlashSystem) as well as some of their older products. I can manage both Brocade/Broadcom and Cisco MDS SAN switch environments.
 

I've also help Pure Storage certification and EMC certification in the past. My operating system background in with Windows Server and configuring VMware for storage, and VMotion migrations.

Education

All my experience is from on-the-job tasks. It's the best way to learn.
