About Kevin Batrich:

In the last 10 years, I had been working in a large corporate medical group as an accountant in the finance department. I took on many duties and learned different types of software to complete my tasks. I think this open mindedness of learning new roles and software application will make me an asset in a company. 

Experience

  • Began as a Temporary Employee in September 2014 and after a required review of 6 months, became a full-time employee in March 2015. 

 

  • Prepared the budget for the administration and private practice departments, using Microsoft Dynamics 365 budget program. Worked and consulted with department heads for feedback on the final budget for completeness and accuracy.

 

  • Reviewed completed financials for the departments to explain Variances in Actual to Budget for current month and YTD in a written format.

 

  • Recorded, tracked and managed company’s fixed assets, including removal and transferring of assets to other departments. Also recorded depreciation expense to the General Ledger.

 

  • Reviewed financial information for the administration & private practice departments for completeness & accuracy in close consultation with department heads. Created Journal Entries for accruals & reclassifications to complete this task.

 

  • Maintained a strict monthly financial closing schedule and collapsed the timeline from 12 business days to 7. 

 

  • Heavily involved in the transition of the company’s accounting system from a two segment to a four segment account number. 

 

  • Reconciled balance sheet accounts.
  • Handled business license applications and renewals for providers with the cities of Fresno & Clovis. 

 

  • Carefully reviewed and approved vendor and vendor benefit invoices through the Metaviewer AP automation system, reconciling outside billing vendor detail for accuracy and approval after reviewing.

 

  • Recorded usage of inventoried medical supplies for the company, ensuring purchases of inventories were recorded properly in the balance sheet account and performed accruals when necessary for outstanding invoices. Performed onsite quarterly physical counts of the inventoried medical supplies and made adjustments where applicable to tie out to the General Ledger.
