  • Compassion and Empathy: A caring and understanding attitude towards individuals who are elderly, disabled, or otherwise in need of assistance.
  • Patience: The ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations, particularly when dealing with clients who have cognitive or physical impairments.
  • Physical Stamina: Caregivers often need to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting or assisting clients with mobility. Good physical health and stamina are important.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected situations or emergencies effectively.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage time to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed as required.
