Experience
- Provide high-level support to the Office of the Dean, which includes the Dean, Senior Assistant Dean, Assistant Dean, and Associate Dean, frequently meeting changing deadlines while still producing high-quality work.
- Responsible for complex calendaring for four Deans, scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Skilled in defining, implementing, and enhancing financial, scheduling, customer service, contract management, procurement, and compliance functions that have improved productivity and mitigated risks.
- Proven success in communicating and collaborating effectively with staff, leadership, vendors, and peers to identify needs and issues, define strategies, and achieve goals across complex environments.
- Project manager for special projects as assigned by the Dean and Senior Associate Dean.
- Coordinates correspondence with university offices and units to assure compliance with deadlines, such as promotion, tenure, faculty reappointments, curriculum approvals, bulletin updates, class schedules, and academic scheduling.
- Payroll manager for staff, validate hours, and approve timesheets
- Manages the planning, implementation, and evaluation of events, including reserving venues, coordinating equipment/technology, and other special meeting requirements.
- Consults with the Dean, Senior Associate Dean and Assistant Dean to manage annual deadlines for accreditation, faculty appointments, annual reports, etc. Communicates with faculty and stakeholders.
- Assists in the management of the digitized record-keeping system for the Dean's office.
