Kele Weedman

Hello, I’m Kele Weedman, a senior zoology student passionate about wildlife care and conservation, currently in the keeper training program at Project Survival Cat Haven. Dedicated to gaining hands-on experience with big and small cats and eager to expand expertise in animal care, habitat management, and conservation education. Excited to connect with other wildlife professionals and organizations to share knowledge and grow within the field.

Currently participating in the keeper training program at Project Survival Cat Haven, assisting with the daily care of big and small cats. Responsibilities include preparing diets, cleaning enclosures, monitoring animal behavior, and supporting enrichment activities. Gaining hands-on experience in safety protocols, husbandry practices, and educational outreach for visitors.

I am a full-time senior at Oregon State University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Zoology through OSU’s Ecampus program. The curriculum focuses on animal biology, ecology, and conservation, and I am on track to graduate in Winter 2027.
