About kayla mieszerski:
Hi! My name is Kayla. I am a passionate and dedicated teacher with a burning desire to continually expand my knowledge and skills in the field of education. Ive had 3 years of experience in the classroom so far. I love to go above and beyond to create engaging and enriching learning experiences for my students! I love to know that I am able to make an positive impact on a students life! I graduated from high school in 2020. As soon as I graduated I was on the hunt for a job to not only help my future career, but help me learn! I was fortunate enough to find a job as a substitue pre-k teacher. This got my foot in the door for success. I then was able to get a job as a permenant assistant teacher at another pre-school. Then I decided I want to get my foot into public schools, so I was fortunate enough to get a job as another assistant teacher in a pre-k class that was hosted in an elementary school. This has given me experience in a real public school setting. I just recently graduated in May of 2023 from Suffolk County Community College with my Associates degree. I have a GPA of 3.3 and have made the deans list. Driven by my insatiable thirst for knowledge, I am now on a mission to pursue further education to get my bachelors degree! I am eager to explore advanced degrees, certifications, and specialized training programs that will enable me to become an even more exceptional educator. Ive also recognized that by continuously investing in my own education, I can provide my students with the best possible learning experiences and help them reach their full potential! Unfortunately, my parents are having trouble funding the funds to pursue my education. I am doing everything in my power to help contribute but it is hard given I am only 21 with a minimum wage job. I am on the hunt for any help my family and I can get financially for my education. I looked into post university and it intrigued me to pursue a job with Amazon! It is the perfect fit for me. While I was in high school I worked at Party city. Within a year I was promoted to supervisor. And within two years I was asked to be an assistant manager at Party city’s halloween pop up store, Halloween city. I took on the job to gain more experience in both managerial and customer service aspects. I consider myself to be a hardworking person, as I was working as an assistant teacher and an assistant manager and going to school all at the same time. I believe I would be a great fit for this job. I am friendly, reliable, hardworking, positive, and a solutionist. I am excited to learn more about this position!

I’ve worked in retail for 4 years, and as an assistant teacher for 3 years.
