Katie O'Neill

I am a senior at Rutgers University Camden, studying Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. 

My passion lies in cultivating positive, upbeat, and professional work environments where teammates thrive, creating exceptional experiences for clients and guests. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality and service industry, I've navigated roles in reservation systems, bartending, retail and restaurant management, as well as teaching. 

Over the years, I've embraced every facet of the hospitality and service industry. I love the lively pace, the face-to-face interactions, and the ever-changing industry. My variety of experience has prepared me to be a valuable team member and leader, especially as I learn more about the field of Human Resource Management.

Most recently, I was the Location Manager for Eddie's Cafe and Mercantile, a seasonal restaurant in Glacier National Park. That's a 6-month contract, which I have done over the past two summers but am rooted in Philly now. In my “off-season” last year, I was a substitute teacher for South Jersey schools. 

I have extensive experience in the service and hospitality industry. Most of my professional experience is either serving, barista, or retail management.

I am currently in my senior year of college (online) at Rutgers, studying for my bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in human Resource Management.
