Kate Martino

am a soon-to-be BSN graduate passionate about patient-centered care, rehabilitation, and holistic wellness. Through clinical rotations across Med-Surg, ICU, PACU, and community health, I have learned to blend clinical skills with empathy, communication, and advocacy.

Alongside nursing, I work as a stretch therapist supporting mobility, strength, and confidence in clients recovering from injuries and surgeries. My goal is to build trust, empower patients, and help them regain independence and well-being.

Excited to begin my RN career and continue growing, learning, and caring for my community.

I have hands-on experience in patient-centered care through my clinical rotations in Med-Surg, ICU exposure, PACU, NICU, and community health. In addition, I have worked as a Stretch Therapist at StretchLab, where I support clients recovering from surgery, injury, and chronic pain by improving mobility, restoring function, and strengthening body awareness.

These experiences have strengthened my assessment skills, communication, patient education, and ability to build trust with diverse patients and families. I bring compassion, adaptability, and a strong foundation in holistic and rehabilitative care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing candidate, graduating December 2025 from Samuel Merritt University. Completed 500+ clinical hours across acute care settings including Med-Surg, ICU observation, PACU, NICU, and community health.

Also certified in CPR/BLS and experienced in phlebotomy and therapeutic stretching techniques that support mobility, recovery, and overall wellness.
