About Karisa Liu:

I am a second-year Classics MA student graduating in December, 2022. I have/am teaching introductory Ancient Greek and Latin in a college setting. 

I am fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese.

I have 6 years of post-secondary level training in Latin and 4 years of training in Ancient Greek.

Experience

  • I worked as a ITS technology student worker and as a Latin tutor when I was in undergraduate school at Franklin & Marshall College. 
  • I served as a Chinese tutor for middle school students, volunteering at Lancaster Day School.
  • I worked as a teaching assistant at University of Wisconsin- Madison for literature courses and introductory Ancient Greek.
  • I am teaching first-semester Latin as a lecturer at UW-Madison.
