My name is Karin Arnold.  I am a registered healthcare documentation specialist with over 30 years' experience in medical transcription/editing.  I am very skilled at creating chart notes and letters, filling in missing words of dictation, performing quality assurance reports, training new transcriptionists in new software programs both in person or by webinar, communicating with providers and/or administrators regarding dictation issues.  I also have excellent communication skills both orally and written.

I have worked in the industry of medical transcription/editing for over 30 years, starting as a medical secretary/transcriptionist in a one-person satellite office for ENT Professional Associates for 8 years then transitioning to owning my own medical transcription service, AAA Transcription, LLC, for the past 30 years.  I worked as a medical transcription supervisor for 1 year for Ear, Nose and Throat SpecialtyCare until the clinic required all providers to type their own notes/letters or use Dragon Speech Recognition and essentially eliminated their transcription department.
