Kali Drum

I have worked in school district and privately funded facilities working as a Transition Specialist providing services for Special Education students and their families, and at-risk students. I help facilitate work-based learning out in the community, I help set up job shadowing opportunities with local businesses on behalf of students entering the workforce and I help prep students for college life, managing financial information, social skills, and employment opportunities.  In the past I have worked in a school district as a floating permeant sub in middle and high school. I have been a sports coach for the past 5 years, and a year as a JUCO Head Softball coach. I have strong knowledge concerning with special education and the education field, as well as knowledge in softball and the development of young players.

I have worked as a Transition Specialist for the past 3 years, as well as working with students from ages 6-18 for the past 5 years now. I have worked with students within the range of high support special education needs to low support, at-risk students, behavioral students. Through the past 5 years I have worked professionally, I have guided, coached and supported adult special needs individuals finding employment and supporting them, high and low support special education students, at-risk students and behavioral students, in the public and private school systems as well as funded third party contracted government facilities with social skills, financial literacy and assisting them on finding them employment or helping them into college, resume work and cover letters.
