About Kaitlynne Wilhelm:

Hi, my name is Kaitlynne Wilhelm and I am pursuing a career in  healthcare! Currently, I am looking to become a Medical Scribe, so I can start getting exposure to the clinical settings in hospitals. I ideally want to familiarize myself with medicine before applying to medical schools with the ultimate goal of becoming a doctor. I have recently finished up the prerequisites for medical school, so I have solid knowledge in the healthcare science and now I am looking for the right place to start my career! 

Experience

I have always kept busy during summer recess (from 2020 to 2024) by being a sailing instructor at Bay Head Yacht Club (BHYC). Once my college schedule allowed it, I became a substitute teacher at Hugh J. Boyd Elementary School and also started shadowing at my local dental office, Leone and Wenning Dentistry Group, under Dr. Wenning with over 100 hours of shadowing experience. I am now starting to shadow for at a pediatrician office, TLC Pediatric, under Dr. O'Brien and at a cardiologists office, Shore Heart Group, under Dr. Karam. 

Education

I graduated from Loyola University Maryland in May of 2023 and got a bachelors degree in psychology. Then, I just completed the Post-Baccalaureate PreHealth Certificate from Kean University in which I completed all my relevant coursework need to apply to medical school.
