Kaita Gorsuch

Enthusiastic writer and student seeking to leverage experience in promoting companies in a positive way and developing mass communications messages. Passionate for devising promotional and informational messages to build brand image, inform the public of promotions and initiatives and influence targeted audiences.

I have worked at the front desk of several residence halls on Purdue's campus for the past year, where I maintained confidentiality and exhibited professional conduct when handling sensitive information, as well as exhibited friendliness, diplomacy, and tact in responding to customers.

Simultaneously, I was an ambassador for Purdue's English Department from Feb. 2024 to May 2025. In this role I worked in small groups with other goal-oriented students in hosting events for the department. Additionally, I helped create posts for the Purdue English Department social media. Finally, I acted as a contact point for staff and students alike.

I also worked at Purdue's newspaper the Purdue Exponent from Sept. 2022 to Dec. 2023. I was an editor, staff reporter, and social media manager throughout my time at the Exponent.

I studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Purdue University's main campus. I will receive my Bachelor's Degree in both subjects on May 18, 2025.
