Passionate about sustainable fashion and crafting compelling narratives, I have dedicated nearly six years to the fashion resale industry as a seasoned copywriter. My journey began with a simple love for words studying journalism at SF State. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in creating engaging, persuasive content that not only drives sales but also educates and inspires. 

My work spans various aspects of copywriting, including brand storytelling by developing and refining brand voices that resonate with eco-conscious consumers and highlight the unique stories behind pre-loved items. Crafting detailed, enticing product descriptions that emphasize the quality, history, and style of secondhand fashion pieces. Creating impactful email campaigns, social media content, and blog posts that engage audiences and promote sustainable shopping habits. Implementing SEO best practices to ensure content reaches the right audience, improving visibility and driving organic traffic. Writing copy that builds trust and fosters a community of loyal, like-minded customers who are passionate about sustainability.

I began my product copy journey in the copywriting/authentication department at The RealReal, a luxury consignment e-commerce company. It took me a year to work my way from Copywriter to Copywriting Team Lead. In that role I edited the work of my teammates, wrote product descriptions, and researched collection information. My favorite part was getting to work with a team that shares my excitement for fashion and being in an environment where we can bounce ideas off of each other and rely on the various strengths of one another to reach a common goal.

I am currently a copywriter at ThredUp where our mission is to inspire the world to think secondhand first. My work spans various aspects including brand storytelling by developing and refining a brand voice that resonates with eco-conscious consumers and highlights the unique stories behind pre-loved items. I began pursuing my love for writing when I studied Journalism at San Francisco State University where I developed my strengths as a writer when it comes to digital content, magazines and SEO’s. I became well versed in a variety of writing styles and wrote stories on a variety of topics and mediums.
