I’m a self-taught executive leader and creative producer who thrives at the intersection of mission, media, and movement. From directing nonprofits to producing compelling audio stories, my work is rooted in purpose and driven by real-world impact. I’ve led teams of up to 25, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and served as the public face of organizations committed to equity, healing, and transformation—most recently as Executive Director at NuWave Community Media and Executive Producer at JMarc Media Productions.

I bring a unique perspective shaped by lived experience, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to uplifting marginalized voices. Whether I’m building strategic partnerships, securing public funding, or mentoring the next generation of creators, I lead with authenticity, empathy, and results. As Executive Director at NuWave Community Media, I developed programs to amplify community voices and address social issues, while also overseeing all aspects of operations. At JMarc Media Productions, I produced high-quality audio content, driving creative direction and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

My career is marked by a deep commitment to fostering inclusive, collaborative environments and delivering measurable outcomes. I am skilled in fundraising, government grant management, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Whether leading teams or advocating for marginalized communities, I excel in creating spaces for growth, innovation, and change.

While I do not have a formal degree, my education has been rooted in real-world experience, allowing me to cultivate a diverse skill set across multiple sectors. From my work at NuWave Community Media and JMarc Media Productions, to my leadership roles at the Oakland LGBTQ Center, I’ve gained hands-on knowledge in media production, nonprofit management, strategic operations, and financial oversight. I’ve continuously pursued professional growth through self-guided learning, hands-on project management, and collaborations with experts in the field. This practical experience, paired with my commitment to lifelong learning, has been the foundation of my professional development.
