At my current position with ProHealth, I am privileged to work with all patient demographics and diagnoses. I had the opportunity to treat conditions from conservative management and elective surgeries, to devastating traumatic injuries. I genuinely enjoy working with a wide variety of age groups, from birth through elderly. It is truly a joy to see a patient regain independence.  To know that you are an integral part of their return to function, by providing rehabilitation. 

Just a few of the treatment techniques I excel at, include, but are not limited to; custom fabrication of complex orthotics, casting, wound care/debridement, use of physical agent modalities, manual therapy, guiding and providing instruction on safe therapeutic exercises to be performed at each stage of healing. Besides providing highly skilled therapy to patients, I am also deeply committed to the teaching and sharing of knowledge about therapy to current Occupational Therapy students and other Occupational Therapists.

The Hand Center

Hired specifically as Clinic Manager with responsibilities to develop a cohesive team at the MCW Hand Center.  This included changing clinic location, overseeing construction, purchasing equipment, furniture and supplies.  Most importantly, recruiting and hiring Patient Representatives, Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Occupational Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants to create an innovative, progressive, highly skilled team.  Therapy programs and protocols were essential to explore current therapy trends.  Open communication with Physicians is a must.  

The agreement to continue as a treating therapist was essential in this role.  I have 30+ experience in patient care.  This includes, wound care, scar management, range of motion, modalities, Orthosis fabrication (casts and splints), functional use, work reconditioning.

As a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, I have completed onsite evaluations including workstation set up, posture, work simplification, exercise and stretching programs.  Develop proactive wellness and prevention programs.

Froedtert Memorial Hospital

Staff outpatient occupational therapist working in conjunction with multiple physicians, therapist, Medical Assists, Nurse Practitioners and reception staff to provide the best quality treatment and environment for the patient.  Duties include conducting evaluations, establishing treatment plan and goals, communication with physicians and effectively progressing the patient to his/her highest functional level of independence

Clinic Coordinator duties also included managing staff and Physician schedules, promoting educational experiences and establishing appropriate referrals.
