Judith I Selleck

I am retired from Heritage Museums where I worked as Director of Public Relations for 29 years. I created the function business for the museum, I also traveled all over the country to conventions like the  American Bus Association selling Cape Cod as the destination for motorcoaches. On retiring I began volunteering for the Falmouth Service Center thrift store Hand n Hand on Sandwich Road, working as a merchandiser. The store sells all donated goods. Last year it grossed over 0ne Million Dollars. My responsibilities are to work at the front desk, make sure the merchandise is displayed properly, wrap and bag sold items, hang clothes on racks when they are ready to sell, and be an ambassador for the store. 

I began as a newspaper reporter working for the Hudson Sun, and later for The Falmouth Enterprise, and the Cape Cod Times. I have been living on Cape Cod for over fifty years in East Falmouth. I was a Trustee during the merger of Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital. I began my own consulting business, Selleck Consulting, and had several clients until COVID. I still do some consulting, but it is more of a hobby than a business. 

I graduated from Natick High in 1959, with a diploma in Liberal Arts. I attend Newton Junior College in Newton Massachusetts, where I majored in Journalism and English.
