Joshua Pung

Hello, I am Joshua Pung, a newly graduated Michigan State Spartan looking for a teaching job. I currently have an associate's degree in Science from Lansing Community College, along with a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education from Michigan State University. I am excited to bring my knowledge of Social Studies Education to your school district to help contribute to your school’s community. Through my education, I have developed into the teacher I am today. After completing my education at Michigan State University, I was placed at an internship at Holt High School. At Holt High School I developed as a teacher. I developed a classroom culture where every student was to be heard. I treated every student with compassion and empathy to create a classroom culture that was about learning. At my internship, I began to create and teach lesson plans that led students to increase their cognitive complexity and critical thinking skills about World History.
