Josh Steinmann

I am a experienced music educator of 19 years who loves to teach music. My greatest goal is to instill a life-long passion for music in my students. I also have ministerial experience as the Missions Pastor of my church, Abba’s House, for the past 3 years.

Pastor of Missions- Abba’s House

• January 2022- Present
• Duties included planning, organizing, and leading mission trips; maintaining communication and support with missionaries; planning and oversight of the Missions budget
• Began and supervised ESL (English as Second Language) program for 6 years

• Elementary Music Teacher- Middle Valley Elementary
• Taught music in a classroom setting K-5 for the past eight years.
• Duties included 6 grade-level concerts each year. The themed concerts included Christmas, Rock-n-Roll, Cowboy, Suessical, and others.
• Created and designed my own yearly curriculum aligned with state standards
• Launched the Little Kids Rock program enabling students to play and perform with guitars, ukuleles, keyboards, drums, and electric guitars.
• Created and maintained the 4th and 5th grade chorus Middle Valley Voices
• Created and taught my own music curriculum for summer school
