I am a retired electrician having served in military.  I love traveling and like to stay active, very active.  I have been scuba diving since late 60’s and took flying lessons in the 90’s.  I am currently on my 4th home purchase after buying and selling all the previous.

I am now remarried (10 yrs now) after my first marriage of 42 years.  My x and I raised 5 kids together who are now grown and off on their own. Now I am remarried and we have 3 kids; 9, 7, and 3 years old.  My wife is from Fiji Islands whom I met just after selling the house I owned in Costa Rica in 2010.  We lived there in Costa Rica for about 7 years after selling our first Florida home at 1434 Alhambra Dr in Fort Myers, which is just off McGregor Blvd.

My first house was in my home town of Elmira, NY.  I bought that house in 1983 and lived there with wife and kids until the move to Florida in 1998.  We moved here to be near the ocean and to be able to take advantage of the warm weather that allowed us the boating and fishing we all loved, year-round.  We owned a 30’ sea ray at that time and were on it almost every day.

For the last 20 years or so I have been working for myself at different jobs ranging from electrical contracting under a general contractor’s license, to buying and selling anything from boats to computer, all that I repaired for resale.  I have had no felonies or any type of legal problems with law enforcement in my life.  I pay all my bills on time and always try to be respectful and responsible in all things I do.  This has led to much credit I have been offered and my wife just loves, and this is what draws me out job searching, so we can continue to keep our payments up to date.

I have a strong interest in computers and science and engineering.  I read much on these topics and try to keep up to date on new technologies. I have been building my own computers since the late 70’s when the first clones came out.

In my work as a union electrician, I have worked at many and varied jobs; Purolator Courier automated sorting facility at Newark Airport, runway sensing system installation at Binghamton Regional Airport at Binghamton, NY, high voltage (30,000 volts) wire installations at Ingersoll Rand Corporation at Painted Post, a facility that makes huge pumps, compressors, and hydro dynamic machinery purchased by countries for dams and various water diversion efforts.  Other machinery also designed for use in military equipment which required special clearance to gain access to.

Over these many years, I have learned early on to work on my own and make long term plans to advance the welfare and security of my family in a changing world.  I and my family need the income that this job will provide and I look forward to starting as soon as possible.  I am drug free, and never been have had a problem with that or alcohol.  My drivers license is clear of any tickets or accidents going back more than 5 years.

Formal Electrician apprenticeship training

Some college, life experience buying and selling 4 homes now and living in 3 different countries and owning a home outside the US and handling finances etc that that required.  International bank transactions and foreign banking.
