Josefina Montes Gonzalez

I recently graduated from my MFT program and am excited to begin the next chapter of my journey as an AMFT. I'm passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m eager to connect with fellow therapists, mentors, and potential employers as I continue to grow professionally and deepen my practice. 

I completed 400 hours toward my licensure as a trainee at the California Lutheran University Community Counseling Services. During this time, I worked as a bilingual clinician, providing therapy to children, adults, and couples. My approach integrates concepts from narrative, experiential, emotionally focused, ACT, and somatic therapy to create individualized treatments for my clients.      

I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University in August of 2025.
