I've built my creative range steadily, across broadcast (WGBH/PBS and Soup2Nuts animation studio), news (Reuters), marketing/corporate (Avid Technology and Liberty Mutual Insurance), and freelance (spots for Kronos, Kodak Alaris and others).

As an editor, I work quickly and resourcefully so that I have time to experiment and make fresh, unexpected connections in the material. I'm highly collaborative, I give my utmost attention and creativity to every project, and I leave my ego at the door (you can't rest on past successes as an editor; each new project is a challenge).

As a writer, I strive for brevity (like a dinner guest or comic, never overstay your welcome).

When I have the chance to also produce/shoot, I draw on the many hands-on production roles I've had (I was assistant camera at a production house in Boston before concentrating in Post).

I currently work full-time, creating multimedia for Liberty Mutual Insurance, but I am open to new opportunities.

15+ years as an editor in high-stakes creative environments including WGBH, Reuters, Soup2Nuts (the now-defunct broadcast animation studio that was the home of “Bob” of “Bob's Burgers”), Small Army ad agency, and Powderhouse Productions (reality TV).

Currently, I create multimedia training for Liberty Mutual, drawing on my experience as a writer (my first job, for 7 years, out of college), shooter (I was assistant camera at a production house in Boston), and editor.

I also ran more than 100 live video Webcasts for Thomson Reuters and Avid Technology, with full responsibility for flawless delivery of content and a positive audience experience.
