For example:

• Pioneering credit analysis for JP Morgan set unprecedented timely two level rating changes reducing lending exposure in oil and gas prior to a sector crash that bankrupted 400 banks and prudently initiating commercial real estate lending early in a new cycle after an absence of more than 13 years.
• For Wells Fargo Private Client Services  protected investor interests by proposing and implementing their first derivative tax efficient hedge of a concentrated portfolio holding (GE at $65, eighteen months before 85% collapse to below $7), and balanced the interests of trust income and remainder beneficiaries exercising change in State regulation “Power To Invade”.
• While serving First Manhattan Co. was featured in II as a “Homerun Hitting Stock Picker”, writing authoritative research reports on three sectors that lead S&P 500 industries performance.
• As top-ranked analyst with Lord Abbett, proposed, launched and team managed the first $1 billion Research Fund, rated Five Stars, ethically putting the interests of clients and analysts on the same side of the table.
• Led global asset allocation and domestic equity management for Fremont Investors (Bechtel Family Office), launching three high performing Five Star mutual funds, an officer and director incentive hedge fund, and family foundation portfolio in a so-called “Warren Buffett” style (long term, relatively concentrated, growth at a reasonable price).
• With Morgan Stanley Business Intelligence aided investment banker pitches with 600 brief research reports, including strategic redirection of smart logistics and transportation sectors, such as new information and electric self driving technologies in automotive, air and shipping modes.
• As Founder/Principal of Fundamental Investment Research & Management I consulted to asset management firms, including Zacks, U.S. Global Investments, and Morrison & Frazier. Developed highly predictive multi-factor valuation method (FactSet and Bloomberg). Managed Separate Account portfolios.
