Joe Saunders

I am currently seeking a position in logistics and supply chain management. I have over 25 years experience in logistics and transportation, including 20 years in the United States Marine Corps serving as a Ground Logistics Officer, specializing in logistics and supply chain management operations. I have a very diverse background, holding positions in maintenance management, transportation management, facilities management, project and program management in logistics operations, as well as experience advising foreign military leaders in logistics and security force operations. I also have experience as a business owner in the commercial transportation industry, as well as sales experience in residential real estate.

I am a retired Marine Corps Logistics Officer (0402), mustang with 10 years prior-enlisted service in transportation and logistics, and 10 years commissioned service as a logistics manager. I have 9 years experience in commercial transportation and heavy equipment operations, much of that time as a business owner, driver, and operator. I am also a school-trained Foreign Military Advisor with combat experience specializing in training a foreign security force in operations, logistics, staff development, security operations, working with a diverse population to help develop and improve their capabilities. 

I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Education from the University of North Florida, completed the Marine Corps Logistics Officers Course, as well as several Marine Corps leadership development and professional training courses. I completed a North Carolina Commercial Drivers Licensing School and hold a current CDL-A license.
