My name is Joe Reynolds, and I am an international student currently in my senior year at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, set to graduate in May 2023. As an ambitious individual, I am eager to secure a job opportunity in the United States through OPT (Occupational Practical Training) following my graduation. OPT allows me to work legally in the country for up to three years without the need for visa sponsorship.

While I am open to exploring various job opportunities in the fields of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, my particular interest lies in Computer/Mobile Forensics and Penetration Testing. These areas captivate me due to their direct impact on safeguarding digital ecosystems and ensuring data security. Given my experience and enthusiasm, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to organizations operating in these domains.

I recently had the privilege of completing an internship with the Cyber Crime Department at the District Attorney's Office in Lehigh County. This invaluable experience has greatly expanded my skill set and knowledge in the field of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security. Throughout the internship, I was involved in analyzing mobile devices, computers, SSD cards, and hard drives that served as forensic evidence, all of which were handled by the esteemed David M. Petzold Forensics Lab.

To conduct my work effectively, I utilized a range of industry-standard tools such as EnCase, Paraben E3, FTK Imager, Cellebrite, GrayKey, and Magnet AXIOM. These tools have not only enhanced my technical proficiency but also deepened my understanding of the intricacies of digital forensics. Additionally, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the Chain of Custody process, emphasizing the criticality of maintaining data integrity when handling evidence. Collaborating with law enforcement and other professionals, I engaged in confidential discussions regarding ongoing criminal investigations, further developing my insights into the procedures surrounding evidence seizure and the analysis of digital artifacts.

In May 2023, I proudly graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity. As a student of a program recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a Center of National Excellence in Cyber Defense, I have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of cybersecurity. Throughout my academic journey, I have immersed myself in the fascinating world of digital forensics, where I have honed my skills in preserving and analyzing digital evidence, uncovering hidden information, and investigating cyber incidents. These experiences have provided me with a solid foundation in digital forensics and have equipped me with the necessary tools to contribute to the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
