I am a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Veterinary Technician with a strong background in veterinary care, animal management, and education. I hold an Associate of Science degree from Pennsylvania Western University and am certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With extensive experience in veterinary technology and animal husbandry, I have honed my ability to manage a wide variety of responsibilities, including clinical skill assistance, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. In my current role as the Veterinary Technology Coordinator at Pennsylvania Western University, I lead and mentor students, oversee animal care programs, and ensure smooth operations for both clinical and administrative tasks. My previous roles in livestock management and veterinary assistance have further strengthened my ability to handle medical treatments, animal welfare, and emergency care, all while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing patient care. I thrive in team environments, adapt easily to new challenges, and am committed to delivering the highest level of care to both animals and clients.

I have a diverse background in veterinary care, animal management, and education. Currently, as the Veterinary Technology Coordinator at Pennsylvania Western University at California, I assist in managing veterinary technology program labs, mentor students in clinical skills, oversee animal care and facility maintenance, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. I also manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate clinical experiences.

Previously, as a Livestock Manager at a local farm, I was responsible for the management of livestock, including medical care, husbandry, veterinary coordination, medication administration, and the buying and selling of animals. I also used an animal management system for registration and tracking.

In my role as a Veterinary Assistant at Leah Mitchell Veterinary, I provided surgical prep, managed in-house animal care, administered medications, and assisted with diagnostic and lab work. I also worked as a CSR/ER Assistant at MedVet Pittsburgh, where I supported emergency care through patient monitoring, anesthesia, lab work, client communication, and administrative duties using veterinary software.

I hold an Associate of Science degree from Pennsylvania Western University, where I developed a strong foundation in veterinary technology and animal care. Additionally, I am a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which reflects my commitment to maintaining high standards of care and my proficiency in veterinary medical practices.
