Jeremy Hillyer

   Since September of 2016 I've been building and laminating custom seating for retail establishments including McDonalds, Burger King, IHOP, and many others.

    I use floor plans and blueprints to assemble frames with parts cut by CNC routers from plywood, marine grade, bendable plywood, OSB, and MDF.

   I am also responsible for laminating, trimming and finishing  any material not covered by the upholstery or fiberglass. All my work is then assembled in house and sent directly to the store or hotel for install by contractor.

   I am the senior craftsman in the Seating Department, meaning I am personally responsible for all the impact pieces, such as the central half round booths and solid oak bleacher seats and custom veneer work. I excel at laminating building and laminating curved surfaces, and am normally the only one doing it.

   I would retire where I am now, but we cannot find enough skilled people to replace our aging team. As of October 2023, our operations are being moved to our sister facility in Mexico. My last day of work is July 28th, 2023.

01/17 to Present - Elkay Interior Systems, Wood Products I - Building and Laminating.

09/16 to 1/17 - Remedy Intelligent Staffing, sent to EIS Wood Products. Hired 01/04/17.

09/10 to 09/16 - Thunder Pallet, Inc.           Building Crew Lead and Machine Setup. Went to EIS before plant closure in 2018.

Before 2010, I did various machining, foundry, and forklift jobs going back to 1996. I enjoy woodworking more, and would prefer to continue my career in that field.

I recieved my HSED from the State of Wisconsin in 1996.
