I am a dedicated and experienced physician with over three decades of practice in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and sleep medicine. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois, I pursued my medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. My postgraduate training includes an internal medicine residency at Northwestern University and a pulmonary fellowship at Rush Medical Center, which set the foundation for my specialized expertise in respiratory care and critical care medicine. Throughout my career, I have combined clinical excellence with leadership and teaching roles. As a staff physician at Millard Fillmore Hospital and a Co-Director of the ICU at Millard Fillmore Suburban, I’ve contributed to advancing critical care services. I also serve as Director of the Chronic Ventilatory Unit at Elderwood Healthcare Facility, emphasizing patient-centered care for individuals with complex respiratory needs. Teaching has been a significant part of my professional identity. I have served as a clinical preceptor for medical students at SUNY Buffalo and led symposiums on critical topics such as lung cancer, sleep disorders, and home ventilation strategies. These opportunities allow me to mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals while disseminating knowledge gained from years of practice. My research contributions reflect a commitment to advancing medicine, particularly in areas such as pulmonary disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and community-acquired pneumonia. As a sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials, I have contributed to groundbreaking studies that have informed evidence-based treatments for respiratory conditions. I bring over 30 years of extensive experience as a physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and sleep medicine. My career has encompassed diverse roles in clinical care, leadership, research, and teaching. I currently serve as a staff physician at Millard Fillmore Hospital (Kaleida Health System) and Co-Director of the ICU at Millard Fillmore Suburban, where I oversee critical care services. Additionally, I direct the Chronic Ventilatory Unit at Elderwood Healthcare Facility. Previously, I practiced emergency medicine and have been deeply involved in clinical research as a sub-investigator and co-investigator for numerous studies on pulmonary conditions, COPD, and pneumonia. My academic contributions include serving as a clinical preceptor and lecturer for medical students, coupled with a history of delivering presentations at professional symposiums on critical topics in respiratory and sleep medicine. Through my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to improving patient outcomes, mentoring healthcare professionals, and advancing evidence-based medical practices.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where I developed a strong foundation in the biological sciences. I then obtained my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, deepening my knowledge and skills in clinical and medical sciences. My postgraduate training includes an Internal Medicine Residency at Evanston Hospital, Northwestern University, followed by a Pulmonary Fellowship at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, where I specialized in pulmonary care, critical care, and respiratory medicine. This comprehensive education has been instrumental in shaping my expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional care in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and sleep medicine.
