I have a deep passion for helping people and ensuring they feel seen, supported, and connected to the resources they need. In my current role as an Information & Referral Assistant at the Fleet & Family Support Center, I assist service members and families navigating personal, financial, and community challenges. As a military spouse, I understand the unique pressures placed on military families and take pride in being a reliable source of support. I’m seeking a federal role where I can continue to serve others with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to making a difference.

I bring a diverse background in education, legal support, and human services, with experience spanning both international and U.S. government settings. I began my career as an English teacher in Japan, where I developed strong communication, cultural awareness, and instructional skills. I later served as a legal assistant, strengthening my abilities in organization, case management, and client support. My work as an elementary school teacher allowed me to support young learners, collaborate with families, and create structured, engaging learning environments.

Currently, I serve as an Information and Referral Assistant with the U.S. government, connecting military members and families with essential resources, programs, and community support. In addition to my professional roles, I actively volunteer with nonprofit organizations—including NMCRS, homeless shelters for adults and children, and local schools—demonstrating my ongoing commitment to service and helping people in need.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Merced, where I gained strong skills in communication, analysis, and writing. In my current role, I receive extensive training as an Information Technology Representative (ITR), along with training in handling sensitive and confidential information. This combination of education and specialized training strengthens my ability to provide accurate, secure, and professional support to clients and colleagues.
