Jay Jordan

My name is Jay Jordan and I have been coaching  28 years.  I grew up in San Angelo Texas and attended San Angelo Lake View High School. While in high school I was a 4 sport athlete. I played football, basketball, baseball and ran track. It was at this time when I decided I wanted to be a high school coach.  I attended Angelo State University and graduated 2002 with a BS in Kinesiology and minor Communications.  I began my teaching career in Midland Texas in 2008, then moved to Fort Worth in 2013. I taught for Northwest ISD at Byron Nelson HS until 2018.  In the summer of 2018, I decided to take a job in FWISD at South Hills High School. I am currently in my 8th year as teacher/coach South Hills.  2018 was also the first year I began coaching golf for South Hills.  These last 7 years have been very educational and informative, which has allowed me to grow as an individual, teacher and coach.
