Hello! Thank you for considering me as a candidate for Kids Pastor. I grew up doing kids ministry with my dad who was a Kids Pastor for 18 years. We helped the church grow from 100 to over 4000 in attendance with over a 1000 kids attending on a Sunday morning. I have skills in everything from puppets and balloon animals, to graphic design, to helping build large volunteer teams.

I currently serve as Kids Pastor at Discover Church, where we have grown from 10 people to 1200 this past Easter. We run 4 services at the Castroville Campus and 2 at our multisite in Lytle. 

Most of all I am passionate about seeing kids, families and volunteers feel God's presence and hearing His voice. God has created us on purpose and for a purpose. Hearing His voice and answering His call to tell others about Him should be our life's journey.

• Create service media and presentations for midweek and weekend Kids Church for all age groups.     
•  Design print materials, from creation to distribution, for Kids Ministry. This includes, but is not limited to: complete promotional packs, branding, monthly brochures, mailers and newsletters.     
• Create and design stage sets and room decorations for Power Kids (elementary age group).     
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of audio-visual equipment in all Kids Ministry Departments.

• Create systems of organization for classrooms.     
• Oversee and plan quarterly stage decorations with the help of creative team.      
• Choose, implement and write curriculum (when necessary) for Birth-5th grade for large and small group settings.      
• Recruit, train, retain, motivate, appreciate, and communicate with volunteers.      
• Train and disciple kids and teens to be leaders in ministry. (Examples: greeter, stage, puppet, worship and drama teams.)      
• Coordinate and lead large events for families and kids.      
• Oversee and train others in the preparation of graphics for monthly mini events and service presentations.      
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events for missions.      
• Develop teams within the kids ministry by fostering a family atmosphere of  love and care.      
• Developed job descriptions in collaboration with other leaders to help identify key positions that need        to be filled. Then, we seek to build relationships that allow us to find the right volunteers to fit those        leadership roles.
