Hello, I'm Javen Coleman, a graphic designer specializing in branding and visual identity. I help businesses bring their stories to life through bold, strategic design. Since then, I've worked across a range of industries and creative projects, balancing clean, strategic branding with a more expressive personal style. While I maintain a clean, intentional approach in branding and identity work, my personal and freelance projects often explore a more
grunge-inspired contemporary style--what I describe as neo-grunge or edgy minimalism. Through the use of textured layers, bold type, muted color palettes, and cut-out imagery, I aim push boundaries and infuse raw personality into my work.

Began career in broadcast media as a Graphics Operator at WBRZ News for 2 years, applying strong design and visual communication skills in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Transitioned into education as a Digital Media Art Teacher at Southeast Middle Magnet, serving in the role for 4 years and fostering student creativity and digital literacy. Currently in the 4th year as the Magnet Site Coordinator at the same school, overseeing program development, curriculum integration, and school-wide magnet initiatives. Proven ability to blend creative expertise with leadership and administrative skills to support student achievement and school success.
