Jason Wangadi

I am a software developer professional with deep experience in object-oriented programming. My strengths include application development and website development. I have achieved success in building console applications and building a personal full-stack website, and I am interested in building deeper experience in full-stack development for my next role.

Fun Facts about me:
I moved to the United States from Indonesia in 2010. I graduated from the University of Washington Bothell in 2021 with a degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering. I am passionate about learning how to blend my love for art and software development.

Avanade Company (Jan 2022- October 2022)

Delivering value to Avanade clients as a full-stack developer. As a Full Stack Developer, I had the experience:

• Working with the development lead to update the client website using the .NET framework with the MVC model 
• Updated 2-3 subsections of the website using Razor pages and JavaScript on Visual Studio within 2 weeks of sprints 
• Collaborated with the client’s scrum developer team via the Azure DevOps Server 
• As part of personal development, building a personal website using Angular, ASP.NET Web API in C#, and SQL database in Azure Repos with a database-first approach

University of Washington Bothell (Sept 2018 - June 2021)

Involved in hands-on programming projects. Among them are:

• CurbSyde Website
  • Built a website in a team using HTML and JavaScript to showcase shops and restaurants that offer contactless delivery, drive-thru, and curbside pick-up amid the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Brainstormed 3 ad-hoc personas using Xtensio to think about the primary users of the website
  • Created and disseminated Google Forms survey to get website design ideas from other students
  • Conducted a card sorting exercise using Miro to prioritize website features by being obsessed with how the participants put certain website features in each given category
  • Evaluated the usability of the group’s low-fidelity prototype with 7 participants before built the website to ensure that the website includes all simple but new features and functions
     
• Disaster Alert System
  •  Documented a design report with the Required & Design (R&D) Group for the Sponsor group in an agile environment. This report contained software design and requirements for Disaster Alert System
  • Assembled a variety of conceptual architecture, such as user requirements, use cases, domain diagram, dataflow diagram, and class diagrams with appropriate design patterns, according to what the Sponsor group needs in their Disaster Alert System
  • Applied communication skills to listen to the Sponsor group about their feedback of any design flaws, spoke candidly of any design obstacles and discussed the next step of the design process. This meeting is conducted every 2 weeks throughout the agile software development lifecycle
• Graph Data Structure
  • Constructed object-oriented design program to connect vertices and traverse a graph using Depth First Search and Breadth-First Search in C++ using Atom.
  • Developed self-driven testing procedures with edge test cases in mind to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the program
  • Compiled and operated the program through a Linux machine to make sure that the program was compatible with the professor’s Linux machine
