• Performs typical machine operations to support the manufacturing division.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules.
• Performs prescribed machine setup, tooling and calibration for making door preps.
• Performs (but not limited to) the following tasks: beveling, cutting, boring chiseling, drilling, sanding and de-burring.
• Is intimately familiar with door hardware templates and their application to precise door preps. 
• Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the task stated above.
• Exercises focused mental concentration in the presence of high-speed cutting and milling equipment.
