I am an educator driven by a commitment to educational equity beyond the classroom. In underfunded schools, I witness daily both the brilliance of students and the systemic barriers that limit their access to opportunity. That reality fuels my work and my long-term purpose.

In my first year of teaching, I achieved 85% student growth and earned a Highly Effective rating. During my second year, I was recognized as an Outstanding Educator for the 2025–2026 school year following a classroom visit by the Chief of Schools. These experiences affirmed the impact of intentional, student-centered instruction and deepened my desire to address inequities at a systems level.

My mission is to raise awareness of disparities in low-income communities and help build meaningful partnerships with donors, sponsors, and organizations committed to educational justice. I am especially interested in the intersection of education, philanthropy, and community engagement, where storytelling informs strategy and funding aligns with purpose and impact.

While continuing my work in the classroom, I am exploring opportunities within education-focused philanthropy, development, stewardship, and community engagement to help scale solutions that empower students, strengthen schools, and support communities nationwide.

I am an educator with two years of classroom experience in underfunded school communities through Teach For America, recognized for strong instructional impact and student growth. In my first year of teaching, I achieved 85 percent student growth and earned a Highly Effective rating. In my second year, I was recognized as an Outstanding Educator following a classroom visit by the Chief of Schools.

I am also an Activate Fellow, selected for leadership development focused on systems change, equity, and social impact. Through this fellowship, I have strengthened my capacity to think strategically about education beyond the classroom, community-driven solutions, and sustainable change at scale.

In the fall, I will be dual mastering at the University of Central Florida in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration to further my passion for advancing educational equity through policy, philanthropy, and community engagement.

As I transition out of the classroom, I am seeking opportunities in education-focused philanthropy, development, stewardship, and community engagement where I can help connect schools with resources, donors, and organizations committed to student success and long-term impact.

I earned my BS in Public Relations from Florida A&M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and I’m now advancing my education with a dual MNM/MPA program in Nonprofit Management and Public Administration at the University of Central Florida.
