Highly motivated Food Scientist who has strong interpersonal skills and loves to solve problems creatively. Perseveres with the ability to focus on tasks and projects, from concept to completion. Eagerly trying to improve the nutritional value of food and to make the food industry a more sustainable sector.

I have been a Graduate Research Assistant during my Ph.D. studies. During this time, I did not only conduct my own research but I was further granted the honor of leading the extrusion laboratory at Washington State University. I have had the privilege of spearheading numerous collaborative projects with various companies. I was in charge of helping companies in their initial state of developing new products. 

I just graduated with a Ph.D. in Food Science, focusing on starch and protein extrusion processing from Washington State University. During this time, I gained tremendous experience in the processing of direct expanded products and high moisture meat analog products, as well as in the functionality of the raw materials.
