As a student in the Master’s program in Sustainability Leadership at Arizona State University, I focus on sustainable development, climate change, and environmental conservation. My research includes reviewing and analyzing insights from Rio Conventions to advance biodiversity conservation and achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. I bring over 10 years of experience in conservation, negotiation, and the management of Protected Areas. I served as the Director of Natural Heritage Protection at the Afghan National Environmental Protection Agency and was a focal point for several multilateral environmental agreements. During my tenure, I reported directly to the Afghan President and MP on biodiversity and environmental issues. I am fluent in three languages and deeply committed to humanitarian principles and the advancement of human prosperity.
