Jaelynn Douglas

 As a recent graduate from the University of California San Diego with a dual degree in Business Psychology (B.S.) and Political Science - Public Law (B.A.), I am passionate about leveraging my education and experiences to make an impact in the world.

My diverse skill set includes proficiency in advertising resources across multiple social media platforms, sourcing reliable information for blog posts and newsletters, tracking media engagement, and using design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm a strong project manager with a proven track record of collaborating with various departments and organizations to implement impactful initiatives.

I'm excited to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities where I can continue to apply my skills, drive, and passion to create positive change and make a lasting impact in law, education, and beyond.

 While at face-value, my previous roles as an intern and assistant within marketing and communications may seem small, they have been mighty in pushing me towards leadership and management roles within these spaces. As a communications intern with California Environmental Voters, my role extended to managing the organization's social media platforms, in lieu of a social media manager. I not only tracked media engagement metrics and identified innovative ideas for engagement, but also created various forms of content to execute deliverables. With a keen interest in social media and digital content creation, I consistently produced engaging social media posts, effectively leveraging platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to enhance brand visibility and user engagement. My hands-on experience and familiarity with these platforms, along with trends that captivate online audiences, position me well to contribute to your organization's digital communication efforts.
