I've worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for clients across several industries, including but not limited to publishing, tech, advertising, and animation. I've also worked as a full-time artist at YouTube/Google, Facebook, Nautilus Magazine, and part-time at Cartoon Network. I've included more detailed descriptions of some of my previous roles below:

Illustrator, Youtube, New York, NY

08/2022-03/2023

-One of three Illustrators on the Youtube Doodles (Yoodles) team
-Collaborated with a cross-functional team, including Art Directors and Animators, to create global work aimed at celebrating YouTube’s vast niche communities
-Designed characters, storyboards, as well as raster and vector animation assets
-Worked with internal stakeholders to ensure that artwork and designs aligned with YT’s brand philosophy––such as education, diversity, and inclusivity––across international markets
-Offered design and brand standards feedback to various teams within YouTube and Google 
-Created social media marketing assets for Instagram

Illustrator, Facebook, New York, NY

06/2020-12/2020

-Illustrator on Gaming and Marketplace teams and member of the broader Visual Systems team
Generated vector and raster illustrations––including but not limited to banners, animation assets, avatar icons, and product announcements––according to internal illustration guidelines
-Provided daily feedback in a team setting to other animators, illustrators, and designers across Visual Systems on their projects
-Collaborated with other animators, illustrators, producers, and product designers to make engaging and effective work

Illustrator and Graphics Editor, Nautilus Magazine, New York, NY

06/2015-05/2017

-Worked with the Art Director and design team to make smart, unique editorial illustrations about various scientific topics
-Produced designs, websites, and animations for Nautilus marketing and advertising campaigns 
-Collaborated on scientific and editorial icons, infographics, and related renderings
-Art-directed freelance illustrators in creating original editorial work

I graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2015 with a BFA in Illustration. While at RISD, I worked at the school's on-campus design firm, The RISD Design Guild.
