Jaclyn Shaw

My name is Jaclyn Shaw! As a fourth-year undergraduate at San Diego State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture, I have developed a diverse design portfolio encompassing structural and conceptual interior spaces. Growing up in an artistic environment, I was encouraged to create from a young age, which fostered my passion for design. My design focus is creating adaptable environments that harmonize historical preservation with sustainability, aiming to enhance human experiences and comfort within the built environment.

My educational journey, beginning with high-level IB Design Technology, to recently, successfully completing my final design course, has solidified my commitment to a career in architecture and interior design. With one semester left as a part-time student, I look forward to immersing myself further into the field and being able to share my personal talents and expertise with other designers in a working environment. I have a strong focus on space-planning, and structural interiors, in either commercial or residential work. I am very advanced in SketchUp, and rendering and I can provide exceptional assistance to a team of designers throughout the design phases and client deliverables.
