Isaiah Jenkins

My name is Isaiah Jenkins. I love to build mobile apps. I’ve been coding since 2014 involving web, game, social, and food apps. I’m interested in spaces built around health, fintech, environment, humanitarianism, and creativity.

When I have free time, I work on innovation, mobile apps and immerse myself in nature. 

Previously, I helped build applications as a key member of the myHP and HPX teams at HP and a startup in San Francisco, Circles. Before those experiences, I studied Computer Science at the University of San Francisco. During my college experience, I executed my mission to build mobile applications and push my limits.

• Successfully implemented reusable UI components utilizing React Native for Windows, enhanced Redux saga functionality, conducted thorough testing with Jest, and resolved critical bug issues for a settings desktop app as a key member of the myHP and HPX integration team at HP.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Azure DevOps and implementing continuous integration practices to streamline the build and testing processes, resulting in improved efficiency and reliability.
• Played a pivotal role in facilitating collaboration and code integration by effectively merging pull requests from team members, fostering a cohesive and productive development environment.

• Designed and developed a dynamic screen showcasing recent group and direct messages, incorporating interactive chat UI components for a real-time San Francisco bar discovery mobile app, enhancing user engagement and facilitating seamless communication within the application.
• Successfully implemented comprehensive product analytics by integrating Flurry API, enabling data-driven insights and decision-making to drive product improvements and optimize the user experience.
• Leveraged the collaborative features of Slack to effectively communicate and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, reporting progress on current tasks, discussing challenges, and resolving issues promptly, fostering efficient teamwork and coordination.

• Provided exceptional technical support to faculty and students, addressing a wide range of network systems, computer applications, and settings, resulting in improved user experience and productivity.
• Leveraged expertise in IT service management to effectively utilize ServiceNow, including ticketing systems and data analysis, streamlining workflows, and ensuring efficient handling of IT-related requests and incidents.

Graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Computer Science at the University of San Francisco.
