  • With responsibility for the complete International H.R. function across 105 countries worldwide (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific Region), I oversaw a workforce of approximately 100,000 employees, contractors, and volunteers. 
  • Also, playing a critical role in the international setup of the Workday ERP system and the sourcing and implementation of a payroll system (at a 54% implementation discount) for operations in 27 African countries.

  • Headed the H.R., industrial relations, employee relations, payroll, employee benefits, pension fund, employment equity, affirmative action, training, health and safety (OSHA), and personal information protection (POPI) for the entire group of 16 companies, 7 countries, 2500+ employees and 25 direct reports (Turnover: R1.12 Bil (USD 70 mil)).
  • Turned struggling departments around and established them as highly successful H.R. business partners, payroll, and training service delivery units.
  • Created and implemented solutions to optimize people, managerial and operational performance across various areas in the organization.
  • Developed employee management, leave management, and industrial relations management systems with I.T.
  • Created a Power B.I. Overtime Analytics tool that drove overtime down by R30 mil (USD 2 mil) per annum (10% of total salary bill).
