Work Experience: 

Mental Health Technician Westborough MA Westborough Behavioral Hospital December 2024 - Present 

At this psychiatric hospital, I am a key individual in maintaining a therapeutic unit environment and in providing a positive experience for patients. I ensure that patients receive treatment to address the issues that they were admitted for in a compassionate manner. 

• Take vital signs at the start of every shift 

• Check on patients every 5 or 15 minutes depending on what their provider requires and document their activities and locations 

• Maintain a 1-1 check system on patients if necessary and ensure that they are being monitored closely and effectively 

• Redirect undesired patient behaviors as needed 

• Deescalate any conflicts between patients and ensure that patients are feeling safe and comfortable after the incident occurs 

• Use CPI techniques for physical holds on patients if needed to deescalate, and ensure that the patient’s safety and dignity are preserved while this is occurring 

• Speak to patients about any concerns they may have during their stay at the hospital and comfort the patient while maintaining a therapeutic relationship 

• Report any concerns about patient wellbeing to the nurse on duty and ensure that the patients feel seen and heard

At this national medical staffing firm, I help hospitals, clinics, and healthcare companies who need physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and dentists fill their staffing gaps. 

• Own and manage a portfolio of healthcare providers and institutions, helping fill staffing needs in hospitals and clinics

 Marketing and Programming Intern Peabody, MA North Shore Children’s Museum October 2023 - April 2024 

This community-based museum encourages hands-on learning through play. It is an inclusive, welcoming space with 15 interactive exhibits that are designed to delight young children and their families as they learn while building essential developmental skills. I served as the museum’s first intern and was involved in administering its programs and aiding its marketing efforts. Responsibilities: 

• Developed and led interactive educational programs for museum visitors, ensuring engaging and positive experiences 

• Assisted with the creation of marketing content and social media strategies to boost museum attendance 

• Collaborated with museum staff to design new programming that aligned with community needs and interests 

• Fostered strong relationships with museum guests by providing friendly and helpful support during their visits
