I pride myself on my abilities to bring people together for common goals. For more than a decade, I navigated the intricate landscape of marketing within the financial sector, where regulatory and compliance guidelines shape daily operations. I successfully led marketing initiatives through various challenges, including multiple mergers and acquisitions, new product and service launches, and the implementation of new websites, intranets, and customer relationship software.
As much as I enjoyed my role in banking, I chose to pursue an educator position, which has allowed me to give back to my community. This year, I was named Teacher of the Year for creating youth development initiatives in partnership with organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission. These programs have made an incredible impact on students and will continue to drive change in the community.
