Heather Harley Davidson

I am looking for a firm to call homer.  I have specialized design/build construction & in land acquisition since graduating from UNF’s Industrial Technology Construction Management program in 1997. My designs won concrete masonry awards prior graduating from UNF.   I am a Florida State Certified General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. 

As an owner of a construction firm, I was the project manager, sales manager, safety manager, job scheduler, negotiator, marketing director, human resources, estimator,  and office manager while overseeing all financial aspects of my jobs. I dealt directly with the workers compensation auditors, building inspectors, planning & zoning personnel, financial institutions, and owners.   I have experience in coastal homes, dental medical offices, hospitality, restaurants, commercial retail, historical restoration five stories, and nursing homes. 

I read blueprints, familiar with A1A contractual documents, I have studied & practiced OSHA regulations, scheduling software, and have been tested on these topics by the State GC exam. I have utilized CAD, Excel, Microsoft, Power Point presentations, and have had experienced all forms of construction inspections.  I am an analytical thinker and detail oriented. My management skills have proven to be team oriented and motivational.  I have a genuinely positive gregarious personality.

I am an award-winning artist in my personal time, and excellent with colors.

UNF Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology Construction Management and Minor in Business Administration provided me with the fundamentals of construction principles and practices , design, structural components and how they work together.  The exposure to OSHA, Construction Lien Laws and contracts has been useful throughout my career.
