Haylee Hamilton

Hello, my name is Haylee Hamilton. I am 24 years old, and I graduated from Crooksville high school in 2018. Right after high school I joined the Ohio Army National Guard and I have served almost 6 years in the Guard since 2018. I am due to get out of the Army in April 2024 due to my enlistment contract coming to an end. Since graduating basic training and my MOS schooling from the Guard back in 2019 and coming home, I then started my career in Fire and EMS. I am currently certified as a Level I Firefighter and EMT-Basic. I started my career at New Lexington Fire Department in New Lexington, Ohio and now currently work/volunteer at Crooksville Fire Department in my hometown. I also work full time for Genesis Community Ambulance in Somerset, Ohio but I am looking to put the Fire and EMS thing aside as more of a hobby and start a full time 8-hour day job instead of working 24-hour days 2 or 3 times a week. I do not have much experience with collection, but I am always willing to learn new things and ways of getting the job accomplished. I have great communication skills and a passion for helping others, so working remotely has always been a major interest of mine, also so in the future I can be closer to home to be able to help take care of my family when the time comes. I have a couple years in customer service from working in fast food when I was in high school and then as a waitress after high school while I was going through EMT class. On top of that I have great communication skills from talking to the restaurant customers, to talking to and taking care of my patients I've taken to and from hospitals and residential homes. 

When attending EMT class back in 2020, we learned a lot about how to talk to our patients, because without communication skills as an EMT, we are not able to provide the proper care to our patients. That also goes along with the passion I have for treating others and giving them the best care possible.
