About Hannah Hodge:
As a recent graduate from Boise State University, I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my academic and professional journey. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I have gained a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and the complexities of the mind. My passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives has fueled my decision to enter the field before pursuing my masters in counseling. By gaining practical experience, I aim to further develop my skills, expand my knowledge, and immerse myself in real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach will not only enhance my understanding of psychological concepts but also allow me to apply them in meaningful ways. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the field and utilize my skills and education to support individuals in their personal growth and well-being. With a strong desire to make a difference, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development as I work towards becoming a compassionate and effective counselor.
Experience
I have gained diverse experience in various roles. As a philanthropy calling center representative for Boise State, I honed my communication and persuasion skills while supporting fundraising efforts for the university. Additionally, my time as a nanny allowed me to develop a nurturing and responsible approach while caring for children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Furthermore, as an elderly helper, I provided compassionate assistance to seniors, offering companionship, aiding with daily tasks, and promoting their overall quality of life. These experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded professional with a strong focus on empathy, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to different environments.
Education
I have completed my education at Boise State University, where I pursued a major in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and the complexities of the mind through my major in Psychology. This has equipped me with valuable knowledge and insights into various psychological theories and research methodologies. Additionally, my minor in Family Studies has provided me with a deeper understanding of family dynamics, relationships, and the importance of a supportive environment. Together, these educational experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded individual with a strong foundation in both psychological principles and the dynamics of family systems.
